Greed, combined with an ever increasing lack of ethics and ‘everybody’s doing it’ attitude has brought us a record number of congressional members under investigation. When Congress sets the rules that allow them to take money from lobbiests representing corporations, trade organizations and foreign governments, the temptation seems too strong to resist.
From Source Watch:

One of the things A Bold Step Back does, is call for much tighter restrictions on what money can be accepted and who it can be accepted from. it also calls for much greater oversight and disclosure. No longer will Congress be allowed to write laws that grant them protection from the taxpayers.
